Classic Lasagna
Ingredients:
• 9 lasagna noodles
• 1 lb ground beef
• 2 cups ricotta cheese
• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 cups marinara sauce
• 1 egg
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and add marinara sauce.
4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
5. In your Verrez baking dish, layer as follows: noodles, meat sauce, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat layers, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
7. Let cool for 10 minutes, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
Vegetable Casserole
Ingredients:
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 2 cups cauliflower florets
• 1 cup diced carrots
• 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In your Verrez glassware, combine broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots.
3. Mix in cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper.
4. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until vegetables are tender and the top is golden brown.
